Heckler & Koch HK416 | Deadly assault rifle



The HK416 is an assault rifle designed and manufactured by the German company Heckler & Koch. It was manufactured in 2004. This assault rifle is fed from 30-round magazines. It is compatible with standard NATO 5.56 mm magazines. It was used in different wars and operations including Afghan war, Iraq war and Turkey Kurd war and also it is used in operation to killed Osama Bin Laden. It is a primary assault Rifle of Norwegian Armed Forces.

The HK416 does not introduce propellant gases and carbon fouling back into the weapon’s interior, making it the most reliable of any M4/M16 type weapon. 
It is used by soldiers from all divisions of the Norwegian Armed Forces. Featuring a red dot sight and a flashlight, the rifle can be installed on Nato rails.

The HK416 is designated the M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle in U.S. Marine Corps service, and is being issued to all Marine infantrymen.


The HK416 has been tested by the United States military and is in use with some law enforcement agencies. It has been adopted as the standard rifle of the Norwegian Armed Forces (2008) and the French Armed Forces (2017) and is used by many special operations units worldwide.
